Parliament & Kossuth Square
Imre Steindl’s neo-Gothic Parliament was built between 1885 and 1904, and the legislature first met here in 1902. Walk around Kossuth Square and down to the Danube to appreciate the scale of the building and its riverfront setting.
Great Market Hall & the riverfront
The Great Market Hall at Fővám tér has been trading since 1897. Browse produce, paprika, salami, cheeses and crafts, stop for something to eat, then step back out toward the Danube — market life and sightseeing meet naturally here.
Chain Bridge & the Buda riverfront
Chain Bridge has shaped Budapest’s riverfront since 1849. Cross it on foot for the city views, then continue along the Buda embankment or climb toward the Castle District if you want to keep exploring.

Easy access to central Budapest via the M3 metro line
Nearby Dózsa György út station is on Budapest’s M3 metro line. The same line takes you to useful central stops including Nyugati, Deák Ferenc tér and Kálvin tér. Use BudapestGO for current routes and service changes.
Private indoor parking in Budapest
The apartment includes its own fixed, covered parking space in the building. LPG-powered vehicles cannot use the indoor garage. If you are arriving by car, tell Maria in advance; exact driving and access details are sent privately before arrival.

How does a direct booking work?
Send your dates and Maria will check them against the Booking.com calendar. Sending the request is not a confirmed booking and no payment is taken at this stage. Maria replies with availability and the current direct conditions; any later booking steps are sent separately.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Please share your expected arrival time in advance. The apartment uses self check-in; confirmed guests receive the detailed arrival and access instructions privately before arrival, after the required registration checks are complete.
How do changes or cancellations work?
For Booking.com reservations, request changes or cancellations through Booking.com; the conditions shown in that reservation apply. For direct stays, use the contact route and conditions in your confirmation. A change is not confirmed until Booking.com or Maria sends final confirmation.
Is guest registration required before arrival?
Yes. Hungarian law requires the prescribed guest registration. Before arrival, Maria asks which email address you want to use for registration, enters it in VENDÉGEM, and VENDÉGEM emails the secure registration link. Complete the required registration for every guest. Guests aged 14 or over need a valid accepted identity document as part of the secure process. Do not send passport or ID-card photos by email, Booking chat or WhatsApp. Exact building, apartment and parking access information is released only after the required registration is complete. Booking.com guests should message Maria in Booking Inbox if they need help.
What are the main house rules?
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment or in the indoor common areas; it is allowed on the private balcony only. Pets are not allowed, parties and events are not permitted, and quiet hours are 22:00–08:00.
What should I do if I need urgent help?
For urgent access, water, electricity or safety issues, contact Maria immediately using the contact details in your booking confirmation. In an emergency requiring police, ambulance or the fire service, call 112.
